Welcome to the Yellow Belt DevOps Dojo lab on Infrastructure As Code (IaC).


The primary objective of the "Infrastructure As Code" (IaC) module is to help you to understand the principles and benefits of IaC. Then understand how to review your current processes for opportunities of IaC.

The secondary objective is to give you an opportunity to participate in a real world scenario to see the pros and preventable cons.

If you have not completed the Welcome module you should do so before continuing with the Infrastructure As Code module.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the lesson and lab, you will be able to:

  • Explain what Infrastructure as Code is

  • Describe the need for and business benefits of IaC

  • Understand how IaC can classify servers

  • Use the IaC to help identify improvements that can deliver the greatest business value
