Let's get started!

Sensu Workflows: Best Practices

Step 1 of 8

Setting up your Sensu testing environment

In this scenario, we'll be using CentOS as the underlying operating system for running Sensu. If you're not familiar with CentOS, don't stress. We'll have all the commands ready for you to run.

Installing Sensu

We've already installed some helpful development packages. So you should have what you need for right now.

Let's install Sensu:

curl -s https://packagecloud.io/install/repositories/sensu/stable/script.rpm.sh | bash

This will go ahead and instal the Sensu repo for us. Once that completes, we'll need to install our packages:

yum install -y sensu-go-{agent,backend,cli}
