List directory contents

The 'ls' command:

The ls command will list the contents of the current directory.

There are several flags that help make the output more readable:

  • -h This flag will change the file sizes into more easily readable sizes.
  • -a This flag will display all hidden files in the directory.
  • -l This flag will organize the output into a list, and display permission and ownership details for each item.
