The following course will show you how to install and configure Kopano. The course machine uses Ubuntu 16.04.

To follow the course you need to have a valid subscription key for Kopano, since we are using the Kopano package repositories for the installation.

Repository configuration

Repository configuration

  • Kopano customers have access to package repositories located at https://download.kopano.io/supported/.
  • below this url you will find:
    • separate repositories per product (for example core:)
    • separate multiple release branches per product (final/pre-final/master)
  • access is protected by username & password
    • login is possible with the subscription key as the password and the value serial as the username
    • alternatively you can also use the credentials from https://portal.kopano.com (this requires at least one valid subscription associated with the account)

Please add the repository configuration

create the file /etc/apt/sources.list.d/kopano.list by running the following commands:
