Kompose is deployed as a binary onto a client. To install Kompose on Katacoda, run the command curl -L https://github.com/kubernetes/kompose/releases/download/v1.0.0/kompose-linux-amd64 -o ~/.bin/kompose && chmod +x ~/.bin/kompose
