Deploying Kubernetes on ACS

Step 1 of 7

Step 1 - Login to CLI

Katacoda creates you an Azure Login, allowing you to explore and experiment with Azure without having to create an account.

Once the credentials have been created, they will be assigned to environment variables making it easier for you to use the Azure CLI.

Use the credentials to login to the Azure CLI. From the CLI you can create and manage your Azure resources.

az login -u $username -p $password

Note: The credentials will automatically expire after 1 hour and remove any resources you have created.

To attach the resources to the correct Azure subscription, run the command below:

export sub=8640e4e6-7133-434a-883e-027266896b9d && \ az account set --subscription "$sub"
