MNIST Dataset is considered to be the Hello world example for the Deep Learning tasks. It contains handwritten digits examples and corresponding labels. The classification task that can be applied to the dataset is more complex than binary classification we've seen so far in the course.
This scenario is an introduction to the MNIST dataset. Later we will be solving the classification task and try to recognise the actual digit from its handwritten representation.
Apart from images, the dataset contains actual labels, so that the machine learning task can be supervised.
