Step 1 - Docker Containers

A container is a standard unit of software that packages up code and all its dependencies so the application runs quickly and reliably from one computing environment to another.



Run an nginx container on port 80 docker run -d --name nginx -p 80:80 nginx.

List for containers docker ps.

Stop nginx container docker stop nginx.

List for all containers docker ps -a.

Remove the stopped nginx container docker rm nginx.
